Oil Steady Near Four-Week High After U.S. Crude Stockpiles Fall - Bloomberg

West Texas Intermediate for February delivery was little changed at $72.72 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange at 7:15 a.m. London time. Brent for February settlement dipped 0.1% to $75.21 on the ICE Futures Europe exchange after climbing 1.8% on Wednesday. The prompt timespread for Brent was 4 cents in backwardation, compared with 30 cents at the start of the month.
