British bankers may face charges in Bahrain - Telegraph

In a statement, Nawaf Abdulla Hamza announced that a hearing would take place into executives allegedly involved in the collapse of The International Banking Corporation (TICB) and Awal Bank on Monday in Bahrain's lower criminal court.

In Bahrain the court, not the prosecutor, has the power to bring criminal charges.

The prosecutor did not name the defendants but last year Bahrain detained four British financiers for over a year in relation to the collapse of the banks.
