Mena equity markets gain 15% on strong sentiments

Middle East and North Africa’s equity markets have registered a very strong month in April for the second consecutive month, with broad regional index gaining over 15 per cent.

The GCC market in particular has gained significantly during the month except the UAE, which registered a marginal decline.

The positive performance was attributed to the improvement in investors’ sentiments over the past couple of months as well as the impact of international markets’ gain on GCC markets, analysts say.
